INSEAD, the Business School for the World - over 80 different countries

i graduated from insead just a few days ago and am trying to figure out what this last year has meant to me.
it has been a rollercoaster ride academically, socially, psychologically and physically. alumni have always said, "it will be the best year of your life" and i wondered how true that could be. the next week of blogs will show us how much this is true as i reminisce about the last year and the memories i keep with me.

for those of you who are not familiar with insead, it is a one year graduate business program. when they say it's a business school for the world, they really mean it with over 80 countries representing in its student body in each class. with 2 campuses located in france and singapore, students switch between them after their first 4 months of core courses. the school year is divided into 5 periods, each 7-8 weeks long. there are 2 classes each year, a july and december promotion. i was a december promotion meaning that i started the school year in january, graduated in december and had a two month summer break.

think about it. you learn from experienced professionals from all over the world for a year. you get to live in two countries on two continents (perhaps three if you do a summer internship). you meet multi-national and local companies. the world is yours for a year.
