Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!

it's new year's eve... again. each year seems to end faster and faster nowadays... but each year seems to be sweeter and sweeter.

what is december 31st good for? certainly not for the nye parties, for they never meet expectations. 

what is december 31st good for? expressing gratitude for the experiences, memories and lessons the year has taught and brought me... ah yes. tis the season when thanks are due and new effort begins.

goodbye 2011... 

- a year of many, many new friends from all over the world

- a year of missing home, family and friends

- a year of building new homes at shangri-la, e8, wata, circle of trust

- a year to live abroad again twice over (france and singapore)

- a year of emotional rollercoasters

- a year of spontaneity and fomo

- a year to stretch the mind and be inspired

- a year filled with new challenges and experiences (cannes film festival, champagne, cambodia, sailing, renting private island, cooking korean feast, formula 1)

- a year to renew my love of music (le shaken, cabaret)

- a year of living in the present

- a year to see the truth, no matter how much it hurts

- a year of pleasant surprises

- a year to assess the beautiful gifts in my life

- a year to be thankful

2011, a gold star for you! what an amazing year...

when you see the calendar year, it seems so long... so many days. 

but we know it's not. we know it'll be short and hopefully sweeter than ever before.
