my friends and i stopped here for an overnight before yachting around phuket
patong is definitely an eye opening experience, especially at night when the vacationers and locals alike dance to every disco beat
anything goes here in patong. to give you a sense, we had dinner waterfront and the live band invited a few of us on stage to sing with them. i sang a couple choruses while my friend banged on the bongo drums.
then off to soi bangla for the hoards of visitors partying at any one of the open-doored bars and clubs.
be prepared to see all types young and old, dressed head to toe or scantily clad, and partying happily or naughtily. either way, you won't have a shortage of entertainment for the eyes.
