Coconut Water in Phnom Penh Airport

i'm a BIG coconut water fan... and in southeast asia i can find plenty of it.
crack open the top of a fresh, green, young coconut...
throw in a straw and i'm ready to drink.

but at phnom penh airport in cambodia, i tasted the best coconut water i had all throughout asia.
when i say the best, i mean the freshest, most flavorful, and delicious natural drink i have had in years!

found at a little coffee stand right before boarding silk air in domestic departures, search for perfect looking bulbous white coconuts. the green has been stripped off the coconut and it is left with this adorably compact sphere of decadence. it costs roughly 3 USD but worth every drop.

it looks a little like this...

dreaming of coconut water...
tiptoe through cambodia
